Ohhhh! Boy, I finally took up the offer from my good friend TresBon Toocool and went for my drag racing lesson. Yeah! I know, I know I sooo needed the driving lesson. I got to witness some races that had me ready to burn rubber.

BUMPER CARS
Ok! so you say I need driving lessons. You try and steer a bumper car on a winding road and still look cute doing it. All in all I still had fun trying to get these photos. What a nice sim to visit.

MY NEW DESK
I finished decorating my office with the new desk, parked the bike in the garage and started blogging the end of the day. Having the new desk made blogging fun. All in all it was a good day, filled with bargains and good lighting. The summer is coming to an end and winter will be here soon. I need to start my Christmas list and tree hunt. Thank goodness I have a fireplace in almost every room…it feels like it will be a long, cold snowy holiday this year. Still enjoying my vacation, not looking for work but running threw my lindens fast. Soon, I will have to bus a table, swing on a pole (just kidding) or write an article for a mag. I’m going to need lindens for boots. Whattt ?!?

SATURDAY IN SL OLD NEW YORK

| I ran to catch a cab to head back to the Subway |

And just like in RL New York the Cab was Off Duty and the driver
was probably at Papayas getting a Hot Dog.

IT'S THURSDAY
Well, After all that prepping for my cozy dinner for 8, it turned into a dinner for two. My guests had RL issues or SL issues or just plain issues. But my friend KV came over and helped me enjoy my well planned meal. We caught up on all things happening in each others lives and I gave him the grand tour of my new digs. He took to lounging on every sofa surface he could find and making himself drink after drink from the bar. I made him park his car and take a taxi home…LOL. When I forced him to sit and have some diner, he kept asking where was the BBQ ribs and chicken, he hoped I made. As if I was about to sweat out my perm slaving over a hot grill …that’s another party all together.
After our Steak and potatoes dinner, plus all the deviled eggs and caviar he could eat. I told him we had to walk it off. So, we headed down to my park to take in the fresh air and enjoy the SL new water. If you have not been in-world too long like us vets you truly will not master the appreciation in details the water looks now compared to how it use to look. The sparkling texture with its small smooth waves makes it so inviting to water sports
Note to self, buy a row boat or raft to float on…Oh! And lots of bikini’s before they go out of season.
The next day it was time to do some laundry...my inventory is not going to clean it self
IT'S SATURDAY
Yeah! I splurged on the budget just a bit for my Dinner party. I had a cozy dinner for 8 and let me tell you boy was I nervous. I know Marina gave me tips on how to prepare the food but I just knew I would burn something…maybe even scorch my new kitchen walls. But I tied on my apron and went to work.
Then I tackled the house cleaning while diner settled in the frig. Note to self with French doors come more dust.
I even took some time to give the neighbors a little peep show from my bathroom. Here's a little dance boys.

WHEW!! MY HOUSE WAS DIRTY AFTER MY MOVE IN, BUT I WAS READY FOR MY GUESTS
I finally made it to the supermarket to stock my new refrigerator (No, I’m not nuts…the frig gives me virtual food. But I just had to go scouting to see if there was a supermarket in SL).
I found a animated shopping cart on the Marketplace and thought wouldn’t that be fun. Creators in this virtual world think of everything….and I plan to keep seeking things from RL out and blogging about them as I go.
I got carried away with my food list. I actually had a Paula Dean possessed moment in one isle and channeled some recipes I know I can not make…not even in RL. Then I came back to reality as we know it in SL and went and got some food producing placemats for my dining room table. They will never say when I throw a dinner party I do not know how to cook. BYOB! People, just BYOB! (Bring your own Bottle)
